PRSA Philly Lunch & Learn: Crisis Communications

Reputational risk affects every organization and brand. Perceptions and attitudes and key trends and competition can make for a swiftly changing landscape that influences the strengths and weaknesses of a brand or organization.

Michele Schiavoni, M.S., iCSR, APR, Wistar Institute VP of Communications & Marketing, takes you on a deep dive into brand repositioning, with a focus on narrative and brand voice. Grant Gegwich, Independence Blue Cross Director of Corporate Communications, will discuss disaster management and how to prepare a crisis management plan. Though a crisis maybe sudden or unexpected, you can put a plan in place to manage the phases of a disaster, including prevention, preparation, response, and recovery. Tom Logue, APR, AKCG Director of Crisis Communications, will moderate the session.
